AppyBee is an initiative of an experienced IT Manager (over 20 years in fact) who decided about ten years ago that a more sporty lifestyle would do him good. How did he get the idea to start AppyBee?
"I used to sweat (all the time) and swear (sometimes) during boot camps, get zen at yoga classes and did fitness, martial arts and other training courses at gyms and with personal trainers. What struck me is that they taught very well, but - in my opinion - used outdated IT solutions. A missed opportunity for an open goal, because good automation is nice for every entrepreneur and every client. And so I decided to look for such a modern IT solution. Only, what was available on the market was either not geared to the needs of the sports sector. Or it deserved a red card because of its high price, user unfriendliness or limited number of functions.
Yes, there was software to automate business processes, but those packages usually did not have marketing options. Let alone a 'built-in' and secure payment solution...”
But every disadvantage has its advantage, right? “Ha ha! Yes, especially if you know a lot of software developers. I forged a team of them in 2016 with a sporting ambition: to develop a platform that would really help the sports sector move forward.
